The Character of God: Being There

…and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE

Ezekiel 48:35b

Have you even felt like you were alone, even though there were people all around you. Maybe you often struggle with feelings of loneliness . Well one of the characteristics of God, is that he is present everywhere. The psalmist in Psalms 139 declares that he is not able to flee from the e presence of God because everywhere he goes God is there. To some that may be a frightening thought, but it does not have to be.

The presence of God in our lives is meant to comfort and encourage. To be a guide and director on this life’s road. To be the chastiser that makes sure we stay on the right path if we listen to His voice. God is beside you today, while you read this. He knows your successes and failures and He loves you and still wants to be a part of your life despite them.

He knows how you have fooled people into thinking that you have everything under control, when on the inside you may be crying and hurting. And He says to you, ‘Let me walk with you, lets me be your guide on this life’s road. Lets have fellowship together as we walk.”

So, you are not alone. God is with you. God cares for you. God wants to spend time with you.
